Course Description

This course will introduce students to the Solar System as well as the visitors to the system such as comets in terms of modern theories and observations. Students will also learn about the characteristics of other astronomical bodies such as binary stars, variable stars, normal stars and clusters in stellar material. The formation of the Galaxy and the Big Bang will also be discussed. Students will be taught using lectures, videos, and other visual/technology aids.
