Course Description

Philosophy 1000 is a general education class intended for all students. It emphasizes western philosophy focusing on the main branches of this field (metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics, etc.), but also includes some discussion on eastern thought. The course is taught through lecture, and includes class discussion. One term paper is required.
